Meeting was opened by Harvey Swanger at 12:08p, February 9th, 2013. Officers present

Minutes from the December meeting were read. Barb Lundquist move moved to approve, with Henry Nipper second. Passed

Old Business : Chuck Smith reports that he has received a check from the Paymaster for the Summer Picnic. It was reported that the Union Pacific “Big Boy” 4014 may be rebuilt.

Director's Report : Our bid for the 2016 Regional Convention has been accepted. All divisions may be able to claim 501 3c status through the National organization. We would be able to accept tax free donations.

Show Report :Scott Crites reports our advertisement is in the Model Railroader for the Spring show. They talked with vendors and other module groups at the Council Bluffs show in January.
Show flyers have been sent out to Scott.
Barb was asked to get a vendor list to Scott.
It was noted that the York, Pennsylvania train show is the same weekend.
The BNSF will have one of their special agents with a booth at the Spring show.

HO module group : We’ve had several modules “adopted” as a result of the Council Bluffs show. The set up time for the Lincoln show will be Friday February 15th at 12 noon. We be able to set up until “lights out”, probably around 9 or so.

N Scale module group : Reports a couple of new members.

New Business : Rich Hulsey reports that a diesel will be operating at the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo this coming year.
OS Omaha will be “operating” May 31st through June 2nd.
A request to buy more of the whistle give-aways was made. It was decided to order 15 dozen, with $150.00 authorized for purchase. Henry Nipper moved, with Bill Dodge second. Passed.
Barb asked for suggestions for the coming summer picnic.

Claude Lundquist moved to adjourn, 2nd by Henry Nipper.

Bob Roegge gave a presentation of some work he has been doing on his newest Gn15 layout.
