Western Heritage Division, NMRA Meeting was opened by Barb Lundquist at 12:07p, November 10th, 2012. Officers present
Minutes from the October meeting were read. Claude Lundquist moved to approve with Ron Brozanic second. Passed Director's Report : 2016 Regional Convention - Planning at the Ramada Plaza (72th and Grover for $7500 for 4 days, June 1st through 5th. The convention will need to meet $11,000 in food and beverages. Participants will have access to CoCo Keys Water Park. Rooms quoted at $125 single/double Provisional Committe includes all Board members, Claude Lundquist, and Yuri Maserang. Show Report : The area at Burke HS is being re-measured so we know exactly how much space we will have available. We have sent letters to manufacturers, etc with regard to door prizes. Show committee will hold these until the Spring Show. N Scale Module Group : Will be set up at the SAC Museum from 23 November to the weekend of 22/23 December. There was a request that the Paymaster send a check to Chuck Smith for the Summer Picnic. Claude Lundquist moved to to adjourn, 2nd by Ryan Moats. After the meeting Rich Husley gave a very informative slide show/clinic on "Railroading Pittsburg Style." Jim Korman |
